德表还是受到美国青睐

不是所有德国品牌都能代表德国水平，我一直这么呼吁，但是大众(这里指的是广大人民群众)在聚集在一起时表现出来的低智商根本听不进去。前一阵子那个德国牌子的汽车作弊案证明我说的是对的。

不要把德国品牌等同于德国制造

如果你听得进去，希望对你有帮助：德国品牌=德国设计or德国制造品质。其中，德国设计有人喜欢有人不喜欢，这很正常。那个出事儿的德国汽车，其实是德国的满足了中低端消费者需求的设计，但是德国制造的成分很低;而德国制造品质，常常是无人能拒绝的。

所以，不要把德国品牌等同于德国制造!

这两天在美国有一个美洲最大的乐适手表展(纽约曼哈顿Gotham大会堂，10月23、24两天)。20多个手表品牌参展，其中包括下面俩德国精品品牌(Boutique Brands)，莫勒(Mühle Glashütte)和名歌手(Meistersinger)。为什么翻译为名歌手?因为瓦格纳的歌剧Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg就是把Meistersinger翻译为名歌手。如果各位有更好的建议，欢迎随时反馈给我。事实上，马后炮我也不怎么介意。

其中莫勒是一个家族品牌，这个品牌参展商品的亮点是罗伯•莫勒(Robert Mühle Auf/Ab)，即罗伯•莫勒上/下指示手表。这个表是莫勒品牌新增的复杂功能。表的名字来着12点位的动力储存显示的环形上、下显示。它告诉表主人，该表的动力处于其56小时动力储存的什么状态。在经典的格拉苏蒂制表传统里，Auf是“上”的意思，表示机芯处于满弦状态，Ab是“下”的意思，表示弦快跑完了。

We’re just a few days away from the kickoff of America’s largest luxury watch show,WatchTime New York,at Manhattan’s Gotham Hall on October 23-24(Click here for event details and to purchase tickets).More than 20 watch brands will be displaying new timepieces,including two distinctive boutique brands from Germany,Mühle Glashütte and MeisterSinger.

The highlight watch for family-owned Muhle is the new Robert Mühle Auf/Ab,which adds a new complication to the brand’s collection.The watch’s name comes from its“Auf/Ab”circular power-reserve indicator at 12 o’clock,which displays to the wearer how much of the watch’s 56-hour power reserve remains before it stops.In the classical Glashütte watchmaking tradition,“Auf”(meaning“up”) means that the movement is fully wound,while“Ab”(“down”) means that is has fully run down.The movement is Muhle’s Caliber RMK 01,with an all-new module that incorporates the retrograde hand for the power-reserve display.

The Robert Mühle Auf/Ab(below) features a 44-mm-diameter stainless steel case with brushed and polished finishes and a transparent sapphire caseback.The sapphire crystal above the silvered dial has an anti-glare treatment.The dial features classical Roman numerals and blued hands for the hours,minutes,small seconds,and power-reserve indication.The strap is crocodile leather,with a stainless steel folding clasp.The Robert Mühle Auf/Ab is a limited edition of 145 pieces,a nod to the 145 years that Mühle has been making watches in Glashütte,Germany.

MeisterSinger,which specializes in single-hand timekeepers,will display its innovative new second-time-zone watch,the MeisterSinger Adhaesio.So how,you may ask,does a watch with one hand display the current time as well as the time in a second time zone?The needle-shaped central hand indicates the current time,accurate to within five minutes,on the outer scale,numbered from 1 to 12 and subdivided into five-minute increments.Simultaneously,a small red arrow above the MeisterSinger logo points to the second time on an inner 24-hour scale on a rotating ring,separated from the main 12-hour ring by another ring,numbered 1 to 31,that displays the date.Because both inner rings are set slightly deeper than the main dial,and the clear typography chosen for the numerals on all scales,both time read-outs are easily legible.

The MeisterSinger Adhaesio contains a Swiss automatic movement,the ETA 2893,which has a 38-hour power reserve and which has been modified so that the local time,second time zone,and date can all be easily adjusted via the crown.The watch’s stainless steel case(with a clear sapphire caseback from which to view the movement) is 43 mm in diameter,10 mm thick,and water-resistant to 50 meters.The four dial variants are black(pictured below),white,ivory,and sunburst sapphire blue.
